My 8 year old snake 3 year old daughter.

My daughter says quit your whining.

Have you attempted breeding of Coachwhips? Know of anyone else?
I have been breeding them for the last ten years. I hatched that one in 1997.
Are you going to have any hopeful offspring this year?
I made twelve of these year before last. I am going after new blood in the spring. I need a new female.

They start life looking like this.

Now, remember Willie you owe me 1.1 of those gems. You know , just for being your friend !!!!

yo carl, long time, how ya been & how's the collection? i'm slowly but successfully cutting back here, down to about 25 pits, among others. :>/ just writing to say for the sake of clarity, i 'think' you may have 2 prior posts confused w/ each other: once upon a time there was a pic of a coachwhip eating a rabbit but i think it was regalringneck who showed us that one......not completely sure of the author though. the mesquite tree photo was of a mexican cribo eating a large lyre snake submitted by chrish at about the same time. ring any bells? if i'm mistaken, go easy on me big guy ok? haha! ttyl.............dannio
I remember the cribo eating the lyre, but don't recall a CW eating a rabbit. WOW!
I do recall years ago on another forum where someone (I think it was Marty Feldner, are he & his dad still around?) posting a pic of a regal ringneck eating a gopher snake!

that up..I'm just an old man with a bad memory! My collection is down to 8 snakes, only 1 pair of Easterns..And with all the traveling I'm doing, I can't get them coordinated for copulation..Either one or the other is blue when I have time to watch them..Only time I put them together was Oct, way too early and they showed no interest in each other..Will be back home Jan 1st and hopefully will get them to hook up..Lots of my animals are out there with Jeff, Gerald, Tony and others. So "my" gene pool is out there with all subs represented and several reproduced last year for most of the guys who got the animals..TTYL, CG
