For pics of the Embers, go to the KS photo page, and click on username, and type in Dayve, that is me, and the first three pages have tons of Ember pics. They are not very well organized, but there are 99% of all the Ember Ball pics there.

Does the adult female you have, have definite black outlines (or indeed black anywhere), or are they more faded? It does look like she has almost a purpleish tinge to her?
Remember, there are two very similar females in my collection, one produced the Embers, and one produced the Mojave crosses. In person, both look toffee color, as opposed to Burgundy color. They turn out looking purpleish in some pics, but really not in person. There are times they take on a Burgundy look in person, but most of the time, they are toffee in color. The close up pic is of the Mojave cross "maker."
