Greyish looking corn

HAUS469 Dec 24, 2005 12:28 PM

I went to the local petshop, they had a adult corn in there for $50.It just said "corn snake" with no description. All the others had the correct name and prices seemed about right. He was pretty "dull" looking in colr.Dull looking gray with duller grey markings(saddles,no stripes). And it was corn markings like a normal, but just bland in color.Remember I am new to this, but this fella looked like no other corn I have seen pictures off.......any clue what he may be?I may add he looked kinda depressed.

Sounds like it was possibly an anery.
It also sounds like it might have been in some stage of "blue".
Getting ready to shed.

Hey.....I would say that is it.He may be ready to shed,he not not nearly as "bright" as the first picture.

Is $50 for this snake a good price? He looks like he is about 3 feet long

Although anerys usually sell for around $25.00 to $35.00, $50.00 for a 3 ft anery isn't really that bad. Especially if you consider the price of shipping if you were to buy online.
Give it a few days to see if it sheds, then you will know if it is worth it or not.

Its odd.......now that I am looking at pic in the gallery of adult "lavender" corns,it kinda looks like them too.Maybe the lavender looks grey to me.I'll see in a few days or so what is up.If it is a lavender adult $50 is probably decent price huh?

not likely to be a lavender but it could be possible.
If it is a lavender you better jump on it.
$50.00 for a lavender is well worth it.
