HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3leoshk Dec 24, 2005 06:43 PM

I got a chinese leo on thursday. I'm kind've freaked because it's not eating or pooing. Could it be easer stressed or brumetating. If he does die. Do you think the shop would give me an other one. She's also pretty shy. I hold her on moss and some BIG bark on the top in quite a small container. I put in a few mealies in a dish and I left a cricket in there. She is 2 mths old. PLS HELP ME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

most reptiles will not eat within the first week of any major change in environment, the best thing you can do is just sit back and let the geck get settled it. most lizards can go a while without food, liook at the tail, if it is really skinny( ie completely skin and bones, then it would be a problem, but as long as it is rounded, and not sunken in, the geck is still ok. just relax, your gecko will be fine, if you try to handle it or feed it constantly you might stress it more and it will take longer to settle in. leave it alone for a week then try to offer food.
ps in future, you will get better replies if you include the nature of the problem in the title, instead of just help. alot of ppl just ignore the cries for help
