My wife is a medic, currently going to nursing school through the Army. I am sooo lucky to have her safely home for Christmas.
Christmas of '03 I was sweating it, she was deployed in Kuwait.
Christmas can be a very depressing holiday when your loved one isn't with you. I can't emagine knowing that they'll never come home! So lets not forget the families too, they are sacrificing something that a lot of us take for granted. I hope everybody has a safe and wonderful holiday. Christmas will never be the same for me, I take a lot less for granted than I used to.
