cjoannes Jul 24, 2003 09:44 AM

1. can anyone identify the two frogs in the two separate photos on my link (below)?

2. the darker frog was found dead last night by an outdoor pond (no chemicals). it had no marks or signs of trauma. how long do they live? could it have died of old age?

any help appreciated - carol

They both look to be Cuban Tree Frogs. Their life span, on average, is about 5-6 years in the wild I believe. Adult size ranges from 2 1/2-3 inches for males and up to 5 inches for females.

Below is an image of my three males.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they're Cubans, also.
