Want info on Vietnamese Mossy TF

What can anyone out there tell me bout the life cycle and care and housing requirementso of the mossy tree frog?

I've read that they either hang out near the water or are in the water allot of the time, unusual for a tf.

One site said thay are a cool wheather frog. So what temperature range are we talking about.

How does one go about feeding frogs that life in the water. Seems to mee all the food insects will quickly wind up drowned in the water!

Thanks,
Larry

when i got mine i was told that the care was similar to firebelly toads... i have 3 in a tank with about 2 inches of water.. they have a pool in the center of the tank, gravel pushed around the outsides to make a marshy area covered in "bog moss", and some dry spots too. i used live plants, pothos and philodendrons that they seem to like.. my two older ones seem to stay out of the water while my smaller one hangs out at the edge with his nose and eyes out.. i keep the temp around 75.. i have a heat pad stuck to one side but the crickets seem to gravitate to it more than the frogs do.. i also have a waterfall made of mongo root covered in java moss, the two older ones spend a LOT of time blending in with the moss on it..

i wish i could tell you more but i had the same problem before i got mine... no one could tell me how to keep them... you might try emailing sandfire dragon ranch for detailed instructions.... when i got my three (2 frogs and a tadpole) from Frog Day in atlanta, the guy who sold them to me could tell me little more than i already knew.. but the guys from sandfire told me the temp and how to setup even though i didnt buy the frogs from them.. i believe mike is the one i talked to? oh.. if you do contact them you might ask if you need to taninate (sp?) the water.. i bought a mossy tadpole from them and they told me to add dried almond leaves or cichlid blackwater extract to his water.. im not sure if the frogs require it but ive been adding it anyway.. if you want i will try to scan a picture of my tank... ive had them for three months and they have doubled in size.. so hopefully i am doing something right.. they are supposed to be incredibly hardy..

sorry so long winded.. its just how my train of thought goes..
