Please help with Identification

I know the picture isn’t the best. I’m a newbie to the whole leopard gecko thing, from what I can see, this is a normal female….. My question is what about the tail? I have seen people mention carrot tail, is this gecko a carrot tail? Her tail is so much thicker then the male….. Almost like a bulb or something…….

its a "regenerated tail" or regen. Leopard geckos lose their tails when provoked by another animal or abusive handling my humans. I really suggest you read a caresheet to learn more about your pet. Happy Holidays.

As stated in the previous post, your Leo has lost most of her tail at one time. No, it is not a carrot tail, just a nice normal female

is that a wild caught. and yes that is a regenerated tail.

Carrot tails have a deep orange coloration to 15% or more of their tail.
