They are really nice in groups--the more the merrier. After they are mature, they don't climb very much and mine seem to stick around together in just one section of the tank now, although when they were younger, they were all over it, even sitting in the bromeliads, which are too small for them now. Mine are the orange spash backs, which are very bold and totally unafraid of any activity going on around them. In fact, they tend to get in the way, as if they are curious. They are also the only frogs I have that appear to watch activities going on outside of their tank. They will do a little bit of half-hearted wrestling occasionally, but nothing serious. However, my group appears to be all females, so I've never observed breeding activity that might change things a bit. I understand that the red morphs are more shy, but I haven't tried these yet. I've had this group for six years.
