i read on someones post that younger smaller dragons, should be put in a smaller cage until they grow, becasue it may stress them to be in a larger one, is this true?

Yes that is true. Baby beardies do much better in a smaller cage. They can locate thier food easy, and can find the basking and cool spots easier. A problem example would be a 6 inch dragon in a 4 foot cage. Not a 12 inch beardie in a 4 foot cage. Dragons can go into larger cages when they are growing up and have sharpened thier hunting skills. Dragons do require a lot of space when adults just at 6 inches a 10 or 20 gallon would be better then a 55 or 75 gallon.
