People give me so much turtle stuff.. I like it but it really cracks me up to see some of the things people find.

For Christmas I got a box full of turtle suckers mmmm mmm.
Then I opened up another box & in that was a gold tone turtle box that is a letter set. It's not a box turtle, it's a turtle box lol & on top of the turtle's shell is another turtle.
You open the shell & there's a tiny turtle letter opener & a tiny turtle magnifying glass inside it. All the turtle eyes are my birthstone.
Where does this stuff come from? LOL

I didn't get anything turtle-y, my mom got a whole buncha (fake)frogs though.
I know theres a place online called the frog store, mayhaps theres a place like that with turtle stuff?
the coolest frog thing I have ever seen my mom got from her friend, for those familiar with the story books Frog and Toad, she got a plush Toad complete with pants and jacket.

what is this frog store you speak of? my boyfriends mom got me a treefrog license plate cover thing for xmas and a frog doorbell cover... shes much more perceptive of my taste than my own mom, who got me socks with dogs on them and kitchen supplies (i dont cook!)...

I've seen the frog store online. Neat stuff.
I have tons of frog merchandise too, my sister once bought me a frog drain stop. Unfortunately it doesn't fit any of my drains.
Recently my DH installed a new cabinet with drawers in the bathroom. We couldn't find any turtle handles but we did find geckos & frogs so that's what we bought lol.
We have turtles for shade holders on the livingroom lamps. Found those & the drawer/door handles at Lowe's of all places.

Someone gave me a cat drain stopper once.

PHRatz, you are so lucky! I love getting turtle gifts The most interesting things I've gotten were turtle items from friends who have visted other countires like Cairo, a silver turtle snuff box; Kenya, turtle carvings; Brazil, raw rubber turtle, lol!

Raw rubber! Now that sounds neat.
I have a turtle necklace I bought from a girl from Senegal, her brother made it but actually it's just plain old plastic, blah.
I don't have any other turtle stuff from other countries.
Just a brass camel from Saudi Arabia my brother-in-law got when he was there in the 1980s. lol
My neighbor gave me a wooden turtle box I guess it's for rings, & she gave me an onyx turtle. Really nice of her.
I'm like you it may seem silly to other people but I love this stuff & I am always thrilled to get it.
I really really wanted the turtle calendar this year but ended up with 3 weenie dog calendars instead.

People always give me horse and dog stuff. I love horses and dogs, but people haven't caught on that I am more into reptiles (especially turts and torts). I have so much horse and dog stuff though that now I usually end up donated most of it. I feel kinda bad doing it, but its just to much stuff, lol. I would rather get gift certificates (sp?) to the petstore.

Yeah Mel I know what you mean. The dog stuff is ok as long as it's not too much. Horse things though, nobody ever gives me that. I'd like gift certificates for thatpetplace.com because the local pet store bites. lol
