Safe Plants for RES.

RBruder Jul 24, 2003 10:39 AM

I just purchased a larger MacCourt pond then I already had. It is 100 gallons but the way I use it the Sliders have about 40 gallons to swim in. I think that these are great for indoor use. Very easy to clean and cheap. I got mine for 95 bucks. Anyways I wanted to add some plants to/or around my pond and I was wondering what type of plants are safe if eaten and attractive for RES.

Thanks

Ryan

you can float water hyacinth and water lettuce over the top of the pond. They are attractive water plants and the turtles love to eat them.
