Here are a few pics of my oblonga holdbacks. They range in age from 2 months to 16 months or so. I love the variation you see in these guys.

Those are really beautiful.
Have you noticed that the C/B babies are different in personality from the adults?
I have heard that they are more outgoing.

To be honest, my adults are very outgoing as well. I mean they are not leopard tortoises following me around the house or anything but they run to the sides of their enclosure when I enter the room. It did take a few years for them to get that comfortable but it's been smooth sailing ever since. As far as the babies are concerned, they are outgoing and aggressive right out of the egg. They are awesome...

Thanks Will, for once again sharing pictures of your beautiful babies with us!
While it is very unlikely, that I will ever be able to keep this species myself, it is always such a pleasure to have updates on your success with them!
Much luck furtheron,

Gaby

Hi Will,
Those pics are unreal. I have a c.b arachnoides that I have had for about a week now. I have noticed that it is more active at about 83 degrees. When the temp and humidity are high it will stay in the same place all day. What are the best temp and humidity to keep it at? (I do soak it once a day for about 45min) I was also told that mulch is the best substrate, do you agree? Also what size enclosure would you keep a hatchling in? Do you think you might have any hatchling arachnoides for sale around may? Thank you,
Tom

Thanks very much Tom. This time of year it is around 85 degrees on the warm end of the baby enclosures and around 75 degrees on the cool end. I keep them in rubbermaid tubs approx 12" X 18" on cypress and they do fine. They do have a shallow pan that they can bathe in available at all times.
As far as hatchlings are concerned, I should have babies from all 4 Pyxis if all goes well. They will begin hatching in about 3 months. Email me privately if you are interested. Thanks...
