I have read on here that male savannah monitors will evert their hemipenis, sometimes both at the same time. I now know that my big guy is a male for I have seen him do this many times and for the first time the other day he everted both at the same time. Well I have been trying to sex my little one we rescued yet till today he refused to relieve himself if we were even in the room. He did today when he was roaming the bathroom and I could only see what looked like a small hemipen but without the bulk and did not stick out only emerged slightly while he deficated. I could not see both sides by the time he finished so I was just wondering what I should be looking for if the little one is a female? Do females show anything when they go to the bathroom? Each one roams around the bathroom(not at the same time) and my big guy will go around everting after I have the little one in there(sent marking) but the little one does not do this. I can not figure out how to get pictures on here, if I can I will post pics of the little one.
