cal king breeding

Heyyyy wuttup ya'll?? this is my first time breeding snakes, i bred a 3 yr old female b/w cal king to a 3 yr old male albino striped cal. the eggs are supposed to be due on jan 2. the female is hardly spending any time in her nesting box that i gave her. also she dosnt appear to have any eggs in her, am i going to tell if theres any eggs by looking at her? any suggestions? i just set the incubater up today so the wait is on....!

Were the snakes brumated first? Did you actually see them breed?

Check if she's gravid... Run your fingers/thumb along her sides at the same time, you should be able to feel the eggs and be able to tell how many are there.

You will also notice her girth is increased. If she is gravid, that is.
