Repti-lawn for my ball python?

jessjessjess Dec 27, 2005 12:17 PM

Has anybody had any experience with flukers repti-lawn, and is it a suitable substrate for a ball python? I will only be using it for half his tank the rest is coco bark. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a problem with any of those artificial turf type products. They look wonderful but unless you're the type that will spend alot of time keeping it washed and dinsinfected it will end up haboring all kinds of bacteria. I know I wouldn't keep it clean enough. If you decide to use it have an extra piece to use while the dirty one is being cleaned.

Ohh no, not that stuff. Its a kit that has actual grass, you just water it and it comes to life. Already bought it though, I talked to the man at the petstore. My pythons cage is big, 4 feet long 3 feet wide and 3 feet high, and the grass covers half. I think it will work out ok, thanks for the help though,
