hello, over the past couple years of breeding boas i have noticed that just about all my males shed one time or another after they start breeding a female ...and they dont eat and gain weight when they breed females so i was wondering if there is something that stimulates this shedding????

can it be b/c the female is responding? b/c she ovulated? b/c she is done ovulating? b/c he is done ? etc....

anyone notice any trend???
