Not a Chameleon but awsome nonetheless! This is Ruby, our 6 week old American Bulldog. I already have a serious male to someday pair her up. Gonna' have to sell alot of Chams and Chondros to offset what we shelled out for this Tasmanian Devil!

I can only have animals with courser wirey hair. MY parents have a Giant Schnauzer, that has hair rather than fur, and I am fine unless he licks me or unless I lie on the floor.

I'm alergic to fur. (most) Dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, even horses. I'm also alergic to bird feathers.

By default... I HAVE to love reptiles.

I'm also allergic to anything with fur or feather, plus household dust and insect droppings.
That doesn't hold me back though. I have 2 cats and a dog. You all know about my bugs. And dust- Bah! Try telling a house full of monkeys about household dust!
My allergies are just something that I learned to live with long ago. I suffered through the teary eyes, the runny nose, scratchy throat, and restricted breathing. My legs still bear scars from the hives that I would break out in. My allergies just finally gave in, I guess. Maybe my body figured that I'm going to have these things around REGARDLESS of how much it complains.

Thanks Feenie!

Not to annoy the purists in this Forum w/canine related banter but I'm done w/Pit Bulls. I had them for 13 years and still love them but American Bulldogs are our new passion! Big money for big pedigrees but well worth it. Its nice to take a 125lb intact male to a dog park and not have to worry about dog aggression. There was NO WAY I could do this w/my Pits, even the females and they were NEVER fought on purpose....but I sure broke up alot of scrapes over the years. I've seen the exceptions to the rule and never cease to be amazed but w/the Am Bulls you get the best of both worlds and they're MUCH more protective of the home than my Pits ever were.

Beautiful dog you have there!

I hear ya. I stopped taking my dogs to the park when my female staffie got attacked by a lab while she was on a leash and he was not and it was of course my dogs fault because she was a "pitbull"! I hate the rap that pits have. Pearl will roll over to any dog and Daisy doesn't have a mean bone in her body, but I still get the eye roll from folks when I tell them I have pits. Heck my little 5 pound Jose is meaner then both my girls put together!! His nick name is Hanable Lector. I don't know how you do it, but my girls demand more time and energy than all my chams put together, but it's well worth it when then are tired and sleepy and pass out on your lap!! As far as protecting the house, if you have a hot dog, they'll show you the way to the safe!!

Not a big dog person. Had an english shepherd growing up (she was great), but also got bit (on my BUTT and have the scar to prove it!) by a german shepherd in 6th grade. waaaaa

But your little Ruby is cute - for now, lol! The only bulldogs I have known have always had the smushed in faces and runny eyes. Is that diff bulldog from an American? Hey, I might know moths and caterpillars and spider and other 6-legged, but I will never claim to know dogs!

enjoy your new toy

Cop Attacked By Angry Dogs -- Itty-Bitty Angry Dogs

POSTED: 10:54 am PST December 30, 2005

FREMONT, Calif. -- A California police officer is OK after being attacked by a pack of angry dogs.

He suffered only minor injuries, including bites to his ankle.

Oh -- did we mention that the dogs were chihuahuas?

The officer in Fremont was escorting a teenager to his home after a traffic stop. The dogs ran out of the boy's home, and attacked the officer in the doorway.

The officer was treated at a hospital, and he was back at work less than two hours later.

Perfect! My wife is a Lieutenant w/Vegas Metro PD! That was hilarious! She works in Internal Affairs and has an awsome male Sunburst Veiled in her office. The placard above his cage says "We See It All" which is a direct reflection of their independent eyes!I just hatched out 40 eggs from him and 15 are spoken for by her Sgts. and Investigators.
