Would a 4ft drop hurt a baby leucistic rat snake?

My texas rat snake was in my hand today and she slithered off onto the floor about 4ft high. It was on soft carpet so it was very well padded. She seems perfectly fine too.

i dont think it would hurt it at all.
i have a sonoran boa that fell from my second floor balcony onto concrete and has never shown any ill effects from it....

hope that helps.

how did your boa happen to fall of a two story balcony, did it escape or what?

during the summer, i keep my breeders in a custom outdoor rack unit. after checking on them, i didnt lock his door and of course he made a break for it.

i found him about 24 hours later in my downstairs neighbors yard...
i checked him and monitored him for two weeks after the fall, and he was fine..

you've always got to pay attention....
