preparing frozen mice ?

what is the nest way to thaw out a frozen mouse, and how do you know its completely thawed out ?

just pop them in a baggie, put it in/under hot water, and wait. it will be warm to the touch and flexible when it's ready. also, a temp gun can help you tell for sure.

and DON'T use the microwave.... eeeewwwww.....

Microwaving them partially cooks them, so yeah best avoided. I leave mine out for a few hours til they rach room temp and then dip them in hot water for a few seconds before feeding, as Gretchen ignores them otherwise.
