Nice animals! Didn't you try to sell the bottom one as a rare pastel changing white in the yellow or something??

We still believe that animal is a white sided or spider sided pastel. It is changing more white with every shed.

The second pic is most definitley a Pastel. She is one of the least Blushing of a Pastel I have ever seen but she is currently 1300 grams (that pic was when she was about 300 grams) and is super bright and stays bright. She is half brother to the Male in the first pic. (same father Pastel 100% het ghost, different mother).

The last 2 pics are both Lemons from NERD's Proven line of Lemons. I am glad you have one that looks similar but that does not mean it is a Lemon.

I wouldn't want a "lemon" snake kind of like a junk car! Especially if it was bred by nerds!!

Are you saying that only ONE Lemon Pastel has ever come out of Africa, and unless the animal comes from Kevin's proven Lemon line, there are no other animals that can possibly be Lemon Pastels?

Just because its yellow doesnt make it a LEMON pastel.

nerd lines have a funny different look to them........the black is darker and the yellow brighter on the sides....not as much blushing all the time..yet an odd color to them.....they also have more of a jungle pattern to them too than bell or graziani's./.........

I have all 3 lines now.......

yes they are all the same inside.....

just like us all........

Gail, No I was not making a statement that there is only one lemon to ever come from Africa and that there was only one line of Lemons out there. I made a statement that the ones I have pictured are from Kevin's Proven line of Lemon's and just because someone has an animal that looks similar does not make that animal a Lemon.

If someone imported a Pastel that had all the same qualities as a Lemon from Kev's line, bred it and produced Lemons, and called it a Lemon Pastel, would you consider it a Lemon or do you think that only Lemon Pastels from Kevin's line can be called Lemon Pastels?

Try Re-reading what my last post says and it will basically answer your question. BUT Just because an animal looks like a Lemon does not make it a Lemon. There have been animals that have been produced from Grazi, BHB, and other lines that are super yellow like a Lemon but that does not make them a Lemon.

other than that its not a Lemon even if it looks just the same. Its a really yellow pastel, doesnt make it a lemon.

O.k. it is what I thought.

All pastels are the same(as far as the pastel gene goes), just NERD calls their's a lemon. I thought that was it, but started to second guess what I thought I knew.

I do have to say from what I have seen NERDS do look nicer, not taking anything from the other lines, just I do like the looks of a true lemon over others.

So working on that theory, people that have brought in their own line of Cinnamons can't really call them Cinnamons ... so just because they look like a Cinnamon doesn't mean they can be called a Cinnamon, because they didn't come from the line of Cinnamons produced by the person who first coined the name/term 'Cinnamon' .....interesting.

You cant call a new import a Bell line pastel just because it looks like it, you cant call a new import a Graziani line pastel, just because it looks like it. ITS A BRAND NAME! ITS A LEMON PASTEL AKA NERD PASTEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

someone calling their "lemon pastel" look alike "xyz line lemon pastel"? Just as long as it's not using NERDs "Lemon" name exclusively? Doesn't NERD have a regular line and a Lemon (ie more yellow) line and if so wouldn't that mean that any "more yellow" pastel line could also be called a "Lemon" just by nature of it being more yellow than a normal pastel - aren't all Blonde Pastels still Blonde Pastels?
