Here is my iguana Dexter doing the same. Better the toy than us! Whenever he gets uppity, I give him this toy and he takes out his aggression on it....

Your DEXTER is soooooo beautiful!How come his spikes are so perfect?
Well, my Godzilla loves to destroy his toy too when he is in his breeding season!

Thanks!!! I really have no good explanation for the condition of his spikes... I live in Las Vegas, and it is very dry here (5-30% humidity), which is the completely wrong conditions for him. He also detests baths and being sprayed with water (which happens whether he likes it or not). On top of that, he is quite rambunctious, so I'm amazed he hasn't actually damaged any of them...
