Hi
Anyone house a pair of sand boas all year long together ? Seperated for feeding and tank is long enough to house them comfortabley. Not sure if male might annoy female if he wants to mate so wanted input.

A friend of mine kept my pair of rough-scales together for about 5 years (they were on loan to him). They did just fine.

Hello,

I have been working with Kenyan Sand Boas for about 7 years. I have always housed my pairs/trios together year round with no problems. I highly recommend feeding in seperate enclosures. I have however, heard of female kenyans (with aggressive feeding responses) eating the male after being placed back into the enclosure. So with that info, you be the judge. Thank you both for the responces. I intend to feed them seperate.
That part of the one female eating the male tho only happened once and you both have never had a problem has made me rethink it.
Esp since I am looking at an albino male for my anery Female .
