The vet had cancelled so I had to make another appointment and have to wait, unless another can be found sooner. He has been a lot more active this past week, digging and climbing although he falls every now and again from a large round log in his enclosure. I had previously moved it to the ground so he would not injure himself doing so, it is just hard to wach him so unbalanced. I had a sign of hope a few hours ago. I was scrubbing his water tank and he seemed interested so I decided to try and feed him. He had great difficulty trying to consume a small mouse due to the manipulation required to get it in and down last time, so I tried some fresh deer meat. I cut it into bite sized chunks and hand fed him (not a good idea I know but it worked) and he ate quite a bit. No bites, although he has such a hard time looking up or biting his intended target it is hard to watch him not be as coordinated as I know he is. I just wanted to post about it, thank you those who read...
