A very unique looking Mojave.

Albey Dec 29, 2005 12:22 PM

I have seen a lot of Mojave’s in person and in pictures, but I have never seen one quite like the one that I own. When I first received him he was lighter than most Mojave’s, but as he developed his overall coloring became lighter and parts of his sides up from the belly changed to an incredible light olive color. The first picture is one I took right after I received him. He looks like most Mojave’s but not quite as dark in coloration.

The second picture was taken about four months later. As you can see he is already getting lighter in color and is starting to develop the olive coloration on his sides.

The next two pictures were taken about a month ago and you can see how light he has become and also the really nice green colored side. I wish the camera could capture just how pretty the olive coloring is in person,

The next two pictures are of him finally earning his keep. These two pictures give a lot of side view, which shows the olive coloration to best advantage. I am hoping he will pass his beautiful coloring on to his offspring.

If any one has a similar looking Mojave, or any other cool looking variations please post some pictures of them. I know that Tom Baker has produced some really nice ones but I would love to see some others.

In the mean time, I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Thanks,
Albey

Hi Albey ... Happy New Year!!

He's gorgeous!! I can't wait to see what you produce from him. The Mojave's genetic background is very interesting, which gives us some fun projects to work on

Best of luck with him Albey, he's definitely a cool Mojave

Great looking mojave. ALMOST look like a butter. Killer snake

They all seem to lighten up like that. Yours started out alot lighter than most. Really nice looking. Mojaves may not be graded cost wize like pastels are but ones like yours would sell for full market price faster than an ugly one. Hopefully he passes his genes to his offspring. Also I bet the supers from light mojos turn out cleaner. Good luck!!

These two Mojaves are siblings, you can see the Cinnamon color of the female over the darker color of the male. The light one might be a Mojave cross, we are not sure.

I like it. What did the siblings and parents look like?

Here is the best comparison pic of my two.
