FIRST OFF, HOW BOUT TAPING ON THE CAPS KEY TO GET LOWER CASE...

Leave your snake overnight in a container with wet paper towels and a few rocks (hard heavy objects), the dried skin will most likely be shed then and you could remove what is not.

Your snake is most likely dehydrated and this will deffinately help.

Good luck

Welcome back and I hope you're better now.
Soaking your king will eventually soften all the layers and I'm afraid that it's a multi-soaking and peeling effort that will get the layers off. After a soak, you can also get the snake back into the cage with a large rock or two and let her rub off what she can. Soaking for 30-60 minutes is not stressful BUT please keep the water at the same temp as the room and cage.
Good to see you back again and it sounds like you're in full swing......Jeff
