what plants are safe

as my cage is almost finished im thinking about decore. are there any plants that they wont eat or tearup to much, the only one i can think of is snake plant, or i think its also called mother in law toung, but would that be poisinus if they eat it?
any other plant ideas would be appreciated

i was wanting some plants that wouldnt get eaten or trampled on, so i dont have to replace them every week. i just want to add something to his cage other than rocks

I think it's a god idea to choose from the list of safe plants, assuming that he will try it anyway. I have different plants in my cage and they don't grow as fast as they're being destroyed, but I also have a very nice cactus in there, the kind with soft needles, so he won't get hurt even by touching it. And so far so good, he never messes with it and it looks great too.
