I am getting a crested gecko soon and have some feeding questions. I have been ready a lot of info on cresties but the feeding thing has got me confused. I plan on getting a couple baby cresteds. I was planning on feeding them the Gargoyle diet for a little while because it has more protien. After they are older I was planning on doing the CGD supplemented with crickets (what do I dust them with - calium & vitamins or just calcium?) and baby food once a week. Would this feeding plan work? I just want to make sure I have all the aspects of crestie care covered before I buy one. Any info would be appreciated! Thanks ahead of time :0)

If you are feeding the CGD a few times a week, your vitamins would be covered. You would just need to lightly dust the crix with a calcium supp. If the gecko feeds on the diet, there is no need for baby food really or crix for that matter.

If you are going the non cricket diet then yeah at least feed the Gargoyle diet instead of the CGD while they are young. The extra protein will def benefit young growing animals. After 12-14 months you can switch to the CGD if you want. Also like bill said no need to supplement with vitamins when using this kind of diet.
