Weird Question

ShadowDruid Dec 30, 2005 01:04 AM

well after finding out that my 'girl' is acctually a 'boy' I have noticed him licking his... anus I guess you would say. he lefts his tail and licks for a second then goes about on his merry way. Is this natural ??? Or is something wrong with him ??

Thanks.

usually the reason they do that is to clean and usually it is sperm they are cleaning wen they do that. so if it is the.... anus lol then u might wana get it checked out

The correct term for what is being clean is "vent" or if you want to get technical "cloaca". LOL In male, yes, "it" is in the same area as the rectum. However, female can (and will) do this too. It's normal, and you shouldn't worry about it unless it's frequent or goes on very an extended period of time. If it is frequent and extended, it can indicate the following:

-parasites (worms)
-prolapsed intestine (both male and female)
-prolapsed hemipenes
