Panthers doing fine after mouth rot treatment

darthjadden Dec 30, 2005 01:06 AM

Hey thanks everyone for your info on mouth rot I have been treating my male panther now for a little over a week and it looks like he is coming along fine. I checked out his mouth when giving him the treatment and it was only on one side and I could see what appeared to be a scar so I am thinking it might have been a cricket bite.

I think they can get cuts on their gums from the spines on the crix legs. Bet it happens a lot more than we realize.
