Tonight i put Castner (male) and Lluvia (female) together. the past couple of weeks the temps in our snake room have been in the 80s range, that is due to the weather change out side. i noticed this and i know two of my females are not ready yet to breed, i think maybe next winter will be when they're ready.
As soon as i put the two together in the bin, Castner got ontop of Lluvia and has been on her for about an hour and a half (1:00 am) now it is 2:15am.
I want to know if this is a sign of a male begining to breed with the female, or trying to "get her in the mood"? Also he has his tail in a hook position near her belly area.
Here is a picture that i took of the two together. after i took the picture i took a roll of paper towles and ripped off a couple of towles and cut each one in half, then i took two small pieces of tape and put each piece on the top two corners of the towles, and then taped the towles on the sides of their bin so i wouldnt disturb them. i thought this would be an okay idea cause if they do breed i can peek through and look.
okay one more question. how do females normally act when they are ready, and when they are around males?
i had another question to ask but i guess ill come back to it. it left my mind while i was typing...
thank you for any advice or input. maybe they will breed?!?!
keep your tails crossed!

in this picture you can see his tail wrapped around her belly area. her tail is laying right infront of the cameras view

Under a dead ohio sky,
Eleven has been and will be waiting,
Defending his light,
And wondering...
Where the hell have I been?
Sleeping, lost, and numb.
So glad that I have found you.
I am wide awake and heading home.
