MAP Jul 24, 2003 12:58 PM

I am in Southern California and have just finished building the enclosure for our Red Tegu and can't seem to find a source for cypress mulch. I'll buy it in bulk if I can find it. Where do you get yours??? Thanks.

A friend out in CA tried to locate it, and coudn't. Cypress Mulch is a product of Florida, and seems to only be available along the east coast. It's sold here in NY. We did find companies online that sold it in bulk, but the shipping cost was way high, and the minimun order was quite high too. "ZooMed" and "Keeper's Choice" both package cypress mulch and it might be sold out there by you in petstores.Good luck!
