Introducing Geckos in the same setup

mx6188 Jul 24, 2003 12:59 PM

Hi all.I have 2 female leos and I was wondering if I could house them in the same setup without a male, although I intend to buy a male and start breeding. They have both been in seperate setups about 2 and a half months and are well adapted to captive housing. If I can do this are there any other setup requirements such as extra housing on both ends of the cage? Thanks for your feedback!

If your tank is big enough then yes, you can probably house them together. just make sure there are enough hiding spots for them, maybe 2 to 3 dry hides and one large humid hide should work. if you see any tail shaking, chasing, or biting, then separate them again.
