Supplementing hatchlings' food >>>

Cleopatra Jul 24, 2003 01:33 PM

i am wondering how often i will need to supplement Pixie and Katrina's baby crickets and mealies. they have a large bottle cap available for a supplement/mealie dish that has a layer of miner-all in it. i was thinking of dusting the crickets every feeding or would every other feeding be better??? also, i was at petco the otherday and saw something called "Leopard Gecko Dust" made my Sandfire Dragon Ranch i think...will the miner-all be enough or should i use leopard gecko dust for them instead??? thanks!

Cleo,
I use the leopard gecko dust to raise babies up on. If you use the dust, you don't need any other supp, includig calcium. It has all bases covered and at well tested safe levels. Plus it have a good amount of protien also, which translates into good growth rates. All the diets were formulated by Allen Repashy (Crested Geckos) at Sandfire, it is distributed by t-rex. I use the crested gecko diet, the Dragon formulas and the leopard gecko fomulas. I like the products alot and they all use human grade ingredients. The dust is formulated to be used daily safely, so it takes the guess work out of supplementing. Let me know if you have anymore ?'s.
good luck
