I give up! I can't find a single termite in my area of Kansas. So I'd like to try my hand at establishing a colony of them. I think that I will need a queen to do this, but I've no idea where to get one. There are a few people that advertise in the web classifieds that sell termites by the box, but I don't know if I could start a colony with these. Anybody have any suggestions?

Hey Randy,
I live in Kansas and find them all over. Go to like an old barn, in the country, hedge rows with dead trees, etc. I colelct a few sometimes, but now that I have darts, i can get more. Good luck, and Mossman moslikely doesn't sell queens to start colonies.
