Here's a few pix of my male that has just shed and the female that needs a new coat.

Really nice looking hatchlings. Very good focus on the photos. I've found the hatchlings have a tendency not to hold still for their baby pictures. That's why some of my baby photos include my hand!
Regards
John

Thanks John, I have the same problem, which is why out of 400 plus pix I'll get one or two that adequately serve there purpose.
Including your hand in the pictures helps give a sense of scale....at least that would be my story! I'll be picking up an adult next week so I'm liable to post another pic when I can. Love the photo and snake John btw. Cheers and happy New Year!

Can't wait to see the adult. We don't get nearly enough old world stuff here. New blood is always welcome.
As for the hand, errr, yes, I neglected to mention that I meant to do it that way all along. It was more a matter of artistic design than necessity.
Here's another shot where I introduced the hand motif to great crtical acclaim. All hail the fabulous snake/hand photo. Long may it grip.

LOL! That is a gorgeous mandarin and the tried and tested hand for scale/subject placement formula has been well executed and works to great effect.
Seeing as you appreciate Old World Rats, here's some pix of adult E. sauromates taken last Summer.

Some scalaris.

All my Old World Rats are in brumation (except the one E. quatuorlineata I'll be picking up soon), so next spring I'll post some new pix of all my adults, instead of these old ones that I've posted before. Have a good New Year, see you on here then. Regards,

Love the sauromates in the tree. Great ventral color. Great seeing all those european ratsnakes in one place.
Happy New Years to you and to all you other elaphephiles.
Best regards,
John
