question- i am new to gopher snakes

I am new to gopher snakes. I have been raising Honduran Milks and Kings snakes for a while.I thought a new challenge would be nice. I bought a male female pair of Gopher snakes yesterday. Once I get pictures loaded I will send them to determine their local and subspecies. They have the typical black line from eye to eye and some black vertically on their mouth. The color pattern is more brown trending towards black at the tail.Does this sound right,?? a good size for breeding them, 3 to 4 years old and or 42 to 48 inches in legnth, Maybe 450gm minimum??

Any info or direction would be great.....
