Europe and German breeders in particular use vitamins. There are products that target skin color “Nekton” is one of them. Carotene is the actual vitamin that influences skin color. I have been monkeying with carotene over the years. Just remember it is in high concentrations in the wild forage that snakes get. Hatchling birds, wild bird eggs, insects and wild mice eat insects, bats etc…
