decided to get a dragon

slipperyjankens Jul 24, 2003 02:12 PM

ok so i decided to get a dragon and i wanted to know a few things. First off i really wanted to get two dragons and keep them in the same cage, but people told me this was not a good idea. i was told if i did this i would need at least a 100 gal tank. so anyways if this is true im just gonna settle for one. So i wanted to know what size tank i should get for when it is full grown, i wanted to know how old the dragon should be before i should buy it, and wanted to know what steps i should take when first getting it like should i take it to the vet or what.
thank you everyone

well for a full grown beardie 55gal at MIN.!!! some people like even bigger tanks.(i already bought mine , its 75gal but my eardie is still WAY to small to be put in there. she's only 7 1/2 inches)...anywaysi got my beardie ozzy at around 2months old. i personally would get a smaller one first so you and your beardie can bond more and when he/she becomes an adult you would have a huge bond together. hope that helps a little
