how does its mouth look is it raw ,swollen or anything else that doesnt look right besides saliva? in case of RI raise temps up to aprox 90-92 degs lower humidity to aprox 40%-50% and iif the RI isnt to bad you should see some results in a few days

If you don't want proper advice, why did you post? Take it to a good reptile vet. Don't play with it's life. It will not eat with a respiratory infection, and it will go downhill quickly once it reaches a certain stage, especially if gobs of mucous are coming up from it's lungs. Could also be infectious stomatitus, which is mouth rot. You won't know what it is, nor how to treat it, unless the vet looks at it.
And not to offend you, but try to write a bit more coherently. Your post is a bit difficult to understand in some spots.

And for the Texas long nose....go to WalMart and buy 2 cans of the "Equate" brand (about $4 a can)bed lice spray. Spray the entire cage, inside and out (without the snake in it), clean the water dish, put clean newspaper in it and wait a couple hours. Put the snake back in, repeat in a week. Save the other can for when you need it, which you will. Those little mites can move 50' in an hour, and will smell a snake across a room.

well put Jaykis the only reason I did not mention a vet is because he already knew that answer was coming so now lets wait for the results hopefully its not that serious. My animals get a well visit every 6 months no matter what but not everyone believes the vet is the best way to first fix a problem

Thanks....I don't play around w/my snakes...I have a good vet and use him. I give shots myself (wife is a nurse...learned long ago how to) after the vet takes a look and grows a culture. I'm currently treating a couple for resp problems (2 are done and cured) because of dryness.
Sigh...it's just that he already new the answer.....
