I just thought I would share a recent experience in doing business with DnJ Reptiles when we were seeking a nice, hatchling croc monitor as part of a future display at the wildlife center I run featuring Asian Forest Conservation. Our first great experience was with Robyn at Pro Exotics where we purchased a black throated and a water monitor; both lizards were suberb and Robyn is a top knotch guy to deal with; always willing to give advice and offer additional support when requested. Now, we are having another great experience in working with the folks from DnJ and they have been very professional, courteous, customer friendly and completely honest in getting us the best animal for our center. Although we had our eyes on one particular croc monitor, they were upfront with us in saying that this monitor was not doing quite as well and they recommended a different one that was doing great. So, we took their advice and waited for the big day. During that time, they offered lots of great advice and put up with many questions that I had. When the monitor arrived, it was absolutely perfect; beautiful in every way. He fed the day after arrival and has been a real joy to work with...everything they said about this animal was true.

I know that there are others on this forum who are just as good as these folks to work with that I someday look forward to doing business with (FR, etc.), but I just thought I would share this experience with anyone else looking for a great source for quality monitors. Hope this doesn't come off as an advertisement because it wasn't meant that way.

BTW...our new croc monitor is named "Mambawe" after a native of Papua, New Guinea who has been responsible for setting aside nearly 100,000 acres of prime forest habitat where croc monitors live. Quite a successful conservation story!
