Bullsnake breeding size

bradsreptilia Jan 01, 2006 07:42 PM

I got a pair of albino bullsnakes . What kind I am not sure ,but the female is around 42 in. Don't know the age.
Everything I can find says they should be three years old.
So all I have to go on is size.
Anyone breeding bulls at this size with good results? Or should I wait till next year?

Happy New Year
Thanks

I'm no expert but I would wait a year.Check with the other members they know a hell of lot more then me .
Good luck

Personally I would wait. The odds of egg binding are increased and with the size of bull eggs, I wouldn't take the chance. One more year could make a lot of difference in the size of a bull. Just my two cents. Take care and happy new year!

Thanks guys
I have asked around and Every one agrees . Wait one more year.
I am not sure which species they are But I guess I have a year to figure it out.

Does the fact that they are albino make it more difficult to identify?
These are my first Pituophis .
