That site is dead wrong about one thing and that is Males HATE/KILL each other . No way anyone can keep a small colony of them esp in that small size terrarium.
Even females might not get a long but males HATE other males once they get to 2 yrs old. They do LOVE HOT basking area of 100 and cooler side. Mine bask (M/F) and they roam a bit than hide .
They need to bury and do hide a lot.
They are easy to keep overall. Mine even eat turkey, etc not just insects. There are a few different types but I dont know how to tell which from where some get bigger than others.
ALL must have substrate to dig into. I wouldnt keep them cooler than 75 at night . The site says 60 ok but thats wrong as where they are from the sand retains heat and they dig in it at night for it. 75 is cool enough for them.
I actually posted same question you did like 2 or 3 yrs ago in this forum . They are nervous and dont like being handled infact wont tolerate it but than again I got mine as young adults not babies.
