What is the largest kingsnake?

giantsfan23 Jan 02, 2006 01:34 PM

I have never really gotten into colubrids(unless you consider a False Water Cobra a colubrid) and was curious as to what kingsnaje was the biggest.
Thanks

well the record size for an eastern king is 82 inches...i was surprised that the next biggest was the speckled king,at 72....then came the fla.,at 69.5 inches(i was expecting to find the fla. king to be the second biggest)....btw yeah false water cobras are indeed colubrids...as a side note,i went to the skins/'jints' game a week ago-man,the joint was poppin'-just like old times at rfk!had a row of 4 very vocal giant fans seated behind me,but it was all in good fun...they piped down by the fourth quater,lol....oh yeah.hard to go wrong with any common king.good luck.
