There are so many possible reasons why he isn't eating.
It could be temperatures, humidity, stress, disease, infection, injury, cage size, etc.

Since we don't know all these factors, the best way to determine if there is anything wrong is for you to do your own evaluations.

Do you see any signs of infection or broken bones?
Do you notice any abnormal behavior besides refusal to eat?
Does the other frog seem to be bullying him?
Are your temperatures and humidity where they should be?
Your cage looks big enough, is it too big?
Are there any other animals in the room near the cage that may be stressing the frog?

well he sleeps ALOT.i can move him to wake him up or put him on the ground to find the crickets but he just goes back to sleep.they dont bother each other from what i have seen.no broken bones or infections that i can see.i had them in a 5 gallon tank but i couldnt find them and it was way to big for them.i herd that i should always be able to find the frogs in the cage so i moved them to a 2.5 gallon.it seems big enough for them.the other frog is very active and very friendly.every time i put my hand in the cage he jumps on it lol.and i have all my herps in my room but i haev amphibians on one side and lizards on the other.the red eyes are on the top shelf of my book case with no other herps in sight besides the lizards across the room.

It could still be stressed out, try covering the tank with a cloth during the day, especially if there is a lot of activity in the room they are in. if it hasnt sorted itself out by next week, consider taking a fecal sample to a vet to check for parasites.

Also! Its is totally NOT TRUE that you should always be able to see your animal in its cage. Anything nocternal will want to be hidden during the day, and have lots of space to roam at night. make sure you have lots of spaces for them to hide.

That being said, the tank you have them in right now is OK, just becasue you should be able to watch what they eat and check to see if they are healthy.

SO, keep them in the small tank for now, but in a month (at the most) they will need a bigger tank, and eventually AT LEAST a 20g.
