If you have any type of budget, they are too expensive for you(lol). They are not a different species or sub species of carpet but rather a different patterned carpet. I believe the trait is dominant or co-dominant but im really not sure. There care would be identical to what ever species or sub species of carpet you got(coastal-jag, jungle-jag, or IJ-jag)

Also, check out www.moreliapythons.com . There is a wonderful community there.

Jaguars range from $2,000 . I've heard of a few selling for over 10k.

The original jaguars are coastal carpets, and generally reach 6-8'. They have recently been crossed with other subspecies of carpets including Irian Jaya and Jungle. I assume that it may take a few genrations of breeding back to other subspecies to see any noticeable size differences.

Their temperment should be the same as any other carpet, which is variable. Some of them are snappy, and others are not, although most will mature out of that stage.
