This is my big girl named Jaamini. She was my first leopard gecko. I bought her from the East Bay Vivarium in 1998. She was described as a normal high yellow.
When people see her they are always impressed by her size. She is about 10 inches long and weighs 130 grams. She used to eat crickets and mealworms. Now her staple food is superworms. One reason she is a good size is that she is housed by herself. She doesn't have to compete with others for food. A few years ago I did put in two others with her. She lost a good deal of weight because she couldn't compete with them for food. She will live the rest of her life by herself.
