wax worm food

has anyone tried your own receipes for wax worm food?
i tried mixing minerall gutload with honey yesterday and my waxworms have started to burrow into them and hence breaking the crumbled balls of gutload down.. i hope this receipe works.
any other receipes to share?

I've ground up bee pollen tablets and mixed it with honey and bran and some glycerin...that worked well.

is glycerin important? i cant seem to get glycerin.. do you get it at pharmacies or baking supply stores?
