Your girlfriend made a good choice in the camera - you've got some nice closeups.
she is pretty! She and my golden boy, Darwin would make nice babies - too bad there is a huge body of water between us!
The cricket eating shots are funny - especially the first with his eye!

Hi
i notice on the action shots i made yesterday the beardie have a protecting thing over the eye when he atacks .
normaly you never wil see it .
but because of the new camera i saw some thing i never saw before.
i know sharks also close eyes and there also come over the eye a protecting thing .
its when the bones break of prey item it not damage the eye.
also on the second shot you see the eye have it but you not see it so wel as on the first pic .

Wow, that first shot is weird! Is that his tongue flicking or the remains of the cricket or saliva or what? it's sort of a freaky pic!
As for the eye - yes, lots of animals have it and is commonly called the "third eye." Cats and other mammals as well as birds - hey, maybe everything but us!
Here's a cool "eye" website. Scroll down to Eyelids and the Nictitating Membrane and it describes the 3rd eye.
btw, what kind of camera?
eye protection
