They ended up being sold to get a Boa, and an awesome Crested Gecko (which also ended up sold). One of the boas was a 2 year old female that a local breeder has, so I get to see it every so often. The other two were babies, but great mouse eaters. I wish I had kept the male, he was gorgeous. They don't need the heat of other boas. Infact I had a low wattage bulb that uped the day time temp to 80, at night I left it at the house temp of 70. They like to soak a lot.

If you get a beautiful animal, that eats MICE, keep it. I wish I had. I do plan on getting at least one for a pet later on. I simply want my collection to be just Boa constrictor until I get out of school.

Some are nippy, especially if held after other reptiles (food in wild).

I do recommend them though!

That is the most beautiful Hog Island I've ever seen!

I've never much liked them because every single one I've seen is speckled throughout and is very unclean looking between the saddles/peaks.

That's fantastic!

....like its a bad thing. i produced the hog pictured above and still wishing i wouldnt have sold it to jason, but speckles are cool too! i like when the speckles are bold, and do not become a "wash" over the body. heres a few "in defense of speckles" pics...,thanks, john yocum (zoo-otics)
